‘Individualised. Holistic. Targeted.’
Integrative medicine combines evidence-based conventional medicine with proven naturopathic approaches. The focus is on root cause analysis, individual resources and the active involvement of the patient – for holistic, sustainable health.
Before I became a doctor, I was an alternative practitioner and in 20 years I gained a good overview of the possibilities and limitations of both worlds. This has given me the experience and the necessary sensitivity to assess which therapy options are promising in each individual case.
Naturopathy uses the body’s self-healing powers through natural methods such as nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle optimization – gentle, cause-oriented and preventative.
The ability to adapt to a changing environment is one of nature’s greatest strengths. Many different systems work together and are in constant dialog. Illness often arises when insufficient attention is paid to individual areas and the balance is disturbed. During the consultation, we find out where you can find your way back to balance and self-regulation with as little effort as possible.
What does a digital practice mean?
Medicine thrives on understanding health and illness. The key is to see people in the context of their environment and to use the principles of nature to promote healing as quickly, gently and sustainably as possible.
Above all, this requires an understanding of the interrelationships and dynamics of complex systems in different areas of health. This is the function of anamnesis (medical history taking).
Unfortunately, conventional medicine often doesn’t have the time to record and process this “whole-person-information” in a structured way. There is no room for a human conversation with the doctor. Instead, expensive and impersonal diagnoses are often made using laboratory and technological tests, which only capture fragments of the history.
In addition, public health systems do not adequately integrate information from different specialties and tests to form a complete picture of the patient, failing to use the network of causal connections and natural self-healing mechanisms to promote recovery.
To fill this gap, I decided to create a digital practice. Through digital questionnaires and video consultations, I can gather and transmit all the relevant information, experiences and intuitions in an economical and ecological way. No waiting time, no traveling – and yet deeply personal.
